Contracts for specialty contractors are negotiated and written by us for your approval. All materials. finishes, fixtures, manufacturers, suppliers and equipment are named (specified) and ordered. We will handle ordering materials and products, as well as supervise the arrival, delivery, and installation of materials and furnishings.
There is no charge for this initial meeting since its an information gathering session only. During this session we discuss your needs, preferences and vision for your project; this discussion address initial design and space requirements, your anticipated budget and expected timeline. We will review our working policies and answer any questions about how our practice operates.
After you have agreed to work with us, our next step we will produce space planning, furniture selection and arrangement, wall coverings or paint specifications, window treatments, floor and ceiling treatments, fixtures and architectural elements, finishes, lighting, art and accessories selections. Fabric samples and pictures of furnishings and/or the actual pieces will be presented for viewing. Renderings are available to help you to see what we envision (there is additional cost for this service). Final price quotes are obtained and any required specialty professional services are confirmed.
Our second appointment is where we will clearly define the scope of work required to complete your project. Any concerns and limitation are addressed, a preliminary budget is reviewed, and a project timeline is established. Our agreements are in writing and are customized depending on your project. Your signed approval and down payment of our fees are required before we begin your project.
